Seeds of Empowerment hosted the first pilot session of “Aunt Mary’s Storybook,” today at the Erie County Jail. After today’s successful turnout, Aunt Mary’s Storybook will now be part of the Erie County Jail Life Recovery Program. Today truly was a beautiful testimony to the power of literacy, the reunification of families and most importantly lessening trauma for children who are missing their family members during this time of separation.
