On this day of thanks and gratitude, as a little non-profit just starting out, we feel incredibly grateful for the blessings we have received from our community and beyond this last year, and the year prior. It is because of those blessings we have been able to provide free, informative, evidence-based survivor informed education to hundreds of professionals, colleagues, allies and anti-trafficking partners throughout the state. We have been able to bring a literary program into the Erie County Jail Life Recovery Program to help reconnect families, we have been able to compensate survivor leaders as guest speakers and most recently, just last week, we received a donation of new clothing as pictured below, that we can share with individuals we are working with who may be in need. We started Seeds of Empowerment because we believed in the power of a planted seed. We are grateful to the generous community members both locally and beyond who also believe not only in planting seeds, but also our dream of living in a world free from human trafficking 🙏🏼
